Will.I.Am’s Single Made Rolling Stone’s Top 100 List
December 22, 2008 by Lynn
It’s that time of year again when everyone and their dog releases their own “Top ____ List of the Year”. This time, it’s the source for all things music, Rolling Stone Magazine.
They’ve released their list of 2008’s top singles and Fergie’s fellow Black Eyed Pea, Will.I.Am had a song on the list…just barely, but it was there. Will’s hit campaign song Yes We Can is listed as #100 on the list of 100. But out of all the singles released in 2008, that’s still an accomplishment wothy of mention.

Could The Black Eyed Peas Be Nearing “The E.N.D.” ?
October 12, 2008 by Lynn
As I told you before, the Black Eyed Peas have been working on their latest studio album in London in between Fergie’s filming schedule for Nine. But I didn’t tell you that the name of the album is The E.N.D.
Is this a clue into the future of the band? According to the band itself, not so much. “The E.N.D.” is abbreviated and stands for The Energy Never Dies. As far as I’m concerned the title means exactly the opposite of the end of the band. Maybe they are just getting started. I can’t imagine why they would want to stop making music anyway.
Their last album “Monkey Business” sold over 4 million copies. Let’s hope that Fergie and the rest of the group make another stellar album with as many hits on it as the last one. I’m sure that they will not disappoint.

Fergie and the Peas Have Been Working in the Studio
October 12, 2008 by Lynn
According to www.billboard.com, the Black Eyed Peas are scheduled to finish recording their latest album next week. They have been recording in London so that Fergie can work around shooting her upcoming film Nine.
The record company is pushing for the album to be released before the Christmas season and Will.I.Am thinks that might be a good idea. While he doesn’t want to rush anything and miss out on some of the quality of the work, he thinks that this may the group’s last chance to sell actual CDs. When asked about the album’s release he said:
“For the last remaining stores that sell CDs, this is the last Christmas that CDs will be in stores. It’s f*cking scary.”
So I will keep you posted about when to expect the album to come out.
Will.I.Am Says to Wait Patiently for Next Michael Jackson Disc
October 11, 2008 by Lynn
For the last two years, Will.I.Am has been collaborating with Michael Jackson on his latest album. But he doesn’t think that Jackson fans should get too excited about the album’s release just yet.
Apparently, the King of Pop is taking his time, making sure that the album turns out just right. He has not released any new material since 2001 when he came out with Invinsible. Will.I.Am recently told BBC’s 1xtra show:
“There’s all these artists in the world like Neo, Chris Brown and Usher, Justin Timberlake, Fergies and Rihannas and then there’s Michael Jackson.
“Michael Jackson has a different pace and you can not put Michael Jackson in that category especially when a lot of those artists have been inspired by Michael Jackson.
“So Michael Jackson is gonna release his record when he releases his record.”
I guess he has a point. Also, the last thing Michael Jackson wants to do is get any more bad publicity, so taking his time to make a quality record is probably a smart move. I just hope he doesn’t wait too long, and his fans get tired of waiting!

Fergie & Kumi Koda Create Another Hit
May 30, 2008 by Lynn
Sounds like Fergie has another hit on her hands! Here’s her latest collaboration. It’s Kumi Koda’s video clip for the single That Ain’t Cool featuring Fergie. The sexy Japanese singer combines her smooth voice with Fergie’s for what I predict will be a big new hit. What do you think?
