Fergie at Glamour’s Women of the Year Event

January 3, 2009 by Lynn

Here’s a red carpet interview with Fergie at the Glamour 2008 Women of the Year event where she performed. She talked about how the election gave people a lot more optimism and how exciting it was to have two women vying for two of the most important positions in the country. And she said that she hopes to someday meet Hilary Clinton. She admires strong women.

When asked to explain her own personal idea of glamour, she said that she had no idea. What? From the singer who recorded Glamorous?

Fergie, you’re always glamorous to your fans!

Fergie Went to the Doctor

November 6, 2008 by Lynn

The life of a pop superstar is never private. For example, yesterday, Fergie was greeted by a herd of paparazzi as she left the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills. I mean, good grief, can’t a girl just go for a check up without having to fight through photographers at the exit?

But she looks terrific anyway. You can tell that she was still in the moof of the election the day before because she was wearing an outfit that says “Vote” all over it. I’m sure she was happy that Barack Obama won the presidential campaign.

Will.I.Am Does Not Want to Bail on the US

October 23, 2008 by Lynn

Will.I.AmIt seems that many people think that Fergie’s bandmate Will.I.Am is planning on leaving the country if Senator McCain wins the election on November 4th. This is not true.

While he has openly been in support of Barack Obama since the beginning of his campaign, the Black Eyed Pea will not move out of the country if he does not win. When asked about the situation he told E! Online:

“Whether Obama’s president or MCCain’s president, it’s still important for people to be just as passionate and just as involved in moving and shaping their communities.

“I’m going to do that regardless of who is president. You don’t just bail the f**k out. This political cycle isn’t like Christmas. On November 4, it isn’t like I got my presents, and now I’m not gonna pay attention anymore.”

Well at least we’ve got that cleared up! I knew he had more character than that! :-)
