Will.I.Am Promotes a New Phone

According to ITpro.com, Fergie isn’t the only BEP who’s promoting a new phone. Nokia is coming out with its own answer to the iPhone this winter. Will.I.Am is one of the artists that will be promoting this new touchscreen cellular phone.

The phone will have full access to the internet and will come with access to a year of free use of the Nokia Music Store catalogue. The phone is called the 5800 XpressMusic and will start appearing in stores early 2009.

The phone looks a lot like an iPhone, but it sounds like they are trying to add more features, such as the music aspect of the phone to make it more appealing than Apple’s version. Other artists that have been connected to the promotion of the 5800 XpressMusic are Keane and Ida Maria.
