Fergie Makes a Donation for the Children

Last week, I reported that Fergie would be in Hollywood, Florida performing at the Hollywood Seminole Hard Rock Live. It was part of the Ambassadors of Rock performance. She made an appearance at the Hard Rock Cafe before the concert to donate a portion of her ticket sales to a good cause.
She gave a check for $20,000 to the Joe DiMaggio’s Children’s Hospital in Hollywood. When asked about the donation she replied:
“I’m happy to be here and be part of the Ambassadors of Rock concert. I want to thank the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital and to all these guys for coming out. Let’s all have a great time [tonight].”
Afterwards she signed an Ambassador’s of Rock guitar and donated some memorabilia to auction for charity. It’s nice to see that she is using her celebrity for so many great causes!
