August 29, 2008 by Lynn

This week while in Denver for the Democratic National Convention, Will.I.Am talked to MTV about how excited he is to hear Barack Obama’s speech when he accepts the democratic nomination for President Thursday night. He has been a long time supporter of the Obama campaign, even making songs about his the candidate’s speeches. In an interview with MTV this week he said this about the acceptance speech:

“This speech is important because the time is important,” he said. “It’s important, ’cause it’s engaging the people who have supported him.”

Here’s a clip of the interview:

Thursday night was historic and Obama’s speech was exceptional.
