Fergie: Rumors That She’s Being Replaced in BEP

Rumors are all over the place right now
that Fergie is going to be replaced with Cheryl Cole in the group Black Eyed Peas. There are tons of sites saying it’s true, but I can’t find anything difinitive yet. The closest thing to a real answer is this statement from Will.I.Am:
“If we didn’t [have] Fergie, [Cole] would be in the Peas - that’s how cool she is.”
Does that sound like something for sure to you? It doesn’t to me. She certainly has an amazing solo career going right now, but has never given any indication of leaving BEPs. Don’t worry, if anything that seems really reliable surfaces, I’ll report it here. In the mean time, I’m still thinking of it as being the latest rumor and that’s all.

Hmm, I read another article that says Will may have a thing for Cheryl.
Fergie is one of the reasons BEP found their way back into the spotlight. I know she might leave on good terms someday, but I think it would have too much of a negative impact if she were just replaced.
Will stated on the BEP official boards that he was just answering an “if” question. Fergie is staying in the pod.
