Does Fergie’s Weight Loss Secret Really Work?

Fergie has made all the news again by announcing that she loses weight by drinking two tablespoons of vinegar each day to lose weight. Not just any old vinegar, mind you, she drinks organic apple cider vinegar in a shot each day.
Now, as someone who is interested in alternative therapies and such, I have heard about apple cider vinegar being good for one’s health for a number of reasons, but had never heard of it helping in weight loss. So I dug around a bit before posting about this and found an article that asked the same question.
The author quotes one of my favorite authorities on alternative health therapies, Dr. Andrew Weil and he seems to think that apple cider vinegar isn’t much help in losing weight, it might cause one to feel a little more full and that’s all.
But as the article states, Fergie not only drinks the vinegar, she exercises and eats right too. So think what you will, she swears by it, and if you decide to try her weight loss trick, good luck!
