Fergie Talks About Being a Role Model

Fergie says openly that she never wanted to be a role model. And reluctantly, she has had to come to terms with the fact that she is one. Here’s what she had to say to OK! Magazine:

“I don’t want that responsibility. I have a filthy mouth; I do a lot of crazy things. Here I am, years later, and I’m looking down at girls in the audience with their mums, and guess what? I’m a role model.”

“I’m not the perfect role model, but I’m a realistic one in the sense that I have overcome certain things like crystal meth,” she continued.

“My heart goes out to anybody who is stuck in that rut because it is a really hard one to say goodbye to. Hopefully, I can be an inspiration because of that.”
