Fergie is Talking to High School Students About Sex

In her role as one of the spokespersons for Viva Glam program, Fergie has been going to high schools to speak to the students about the importance of safe sex in AIDS prevention.

She has been talking to them about not letting themselves get pressured into sex without a condom. It’s frank talk, but the point is to try to decrease the spread of AIDS in young people.

Here are some of the things Fergie’s been telling the young people:

She said: “In high school I cheated on my boyfriends - whatever.

“(But) do you really want that person who’s just going to like you if you have unprotected sex?

“It’s about building self-esteem.

“That’s what it’s going to take for young people to have protected sex. They have to stick to their guns.”
