Fergie Got a Bad Review in Australia
Fergie is part of The Police concert tour in Australia and New Zealand. Apparently, she tried out some new material in the recent concert in Melbourne, Australia and met with poor response. Here’s an excerpt from a review of the performance:
Fergie covering McCartney’s ‘Live and Let Die’, Led Zep’s ‘Black Dog’ and The Stones ‘Start Me Up’ came across as bad karaoke. The crowd was not amused. At the end of the medley, the stadium was silent. The reaction was no better later when she covered Heart’s ‘Barracuda’
“If I did another new song you’d kick my ass,” she said somewhat apologetically to the crowd.
Ouch!! Sounds like a painful experience for any performer. (But thankfully, at least she remembered to zip her pants for that performance.)
